In a match pairing two pop music favorites of past and present, Daryl Hall & Chromeo have announced their joint performance on Friday June 11th at this year’s Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, TN. A reprise of the widely successful collaboration first appearing on a 2008 episode of Daryl Hall’s web series “Live From Daryl’s House”, the Bonnaroo performance will also feature Hall and Chromeo performing together as one unit. A nod to Chromeo’s inimitable take on the blue-eyed sentiment of Hall’s music, the triumvirate of Daryl Hall, Dave 1, and P-Thugg of Chromeo will unite once again for a rare set of Hall & Oates and Chromeo classics.

Bonjour Montreal
I still don't know how working on tracks in my bedroom became an invitation to Montreal in a matter of months, but I can't complain. I didn't even know who Turbo were (seriously) until I saw a new DMX Krew 12'' - the wicked Bass Drop - on his site and decided to shoot over a handful of hopelessly unfashionable sub-Aphex ambient jams in the off chance that they might take notice. It turned out to be pretty lucky for me that SAW Volume 1 is one of TVP's favourite albums. If that sounds like I'm trying to sound disassociated and ''far-out'', I apologize - as a fan of weird shit like Rephlex and SNES soundtracks, that a label with Chromeo and Boys Noize in its ranks should even be vaguely amused by my oeuvre seems pretty surreal, but then again I suppose that's testament to Turbo's scope.
