Turbo Recordings...SONA was born in Feb. 96 as joint effort between local DJs designers and promoters to give Montreals thriving party scene a permanent home - a fusion between the creative energy of the raves and the benefits of the housier nightclubs. The plan worked, and just two years later SONA has become the largest club of its kind in Montreal (and one of the largest in North America), with a world class soundsystem, lighting system, and a long list of live performances and international guest DJs. Clubbers can hear Montreal strong house roots at "Tease" on Saturday nights, and experience the energy of the techno-inspiered "Pure Techno Silver Fridays". Both nights have found their home at SONA, and in honor of the clubs two year anniversary, Tiga has compiled some of the biggest tracks from the past two years and put them into an exclusive mix for ///Marquis Recordings celebrating the sound of Silver Fridays at SONA.
