Mastering?

Hello Turbo pimps...

  I've got a question about mastering and the "Turbo Sound". One thing I love about all the Turbo Records releases that I've picked up is that they have such a distinct analogue warmth to their sound as well as end up quite loud, comparatively (not to say that I'm pro-loudness wars).

  I was wondering if you could shed some light on the mastering process you go through at Turbo? Any special gear you like to run everything through? Do you have your own in house mastering and vinyl lathe or do you send off your records?

  I'm going to school right now with the ultimate goal of becoming a mastering engineer so any insight would help.
