Tom Gillieron
and Ravi McArthur, two of South Londons most ambitious producers,
have been working together for over six years in which time they
have embarked on a number of musical projects. Both producers in
their own right, Tom having released on Michel De Heijs EC
records (Holland), The Big Chill and Harthouse, and Ravi on EC,
The End and Visitor (Belgium), as well as a string of releases on
their own label Reverberations.
Tom and Ravi have also turned their hands to remixing, reworking
BTs Dreaming in 2000. Ravi remixed Robbie Williams
Rock DJ to critical acclaim as well as Mr C, while Tom
has a string of remixes under his belt including Kirsty Hawkshaws
Fineday, some as yet unreleased material from former
Dee-Lites Lady Miss Kier and MJ Coles Wonderin
Why.
Their
main collaboration to date has been as Dancing HQ on Brightons
prestigious house label Loaded, with the Tech-House Classic Right
where we ought to be in 1999, a forthcoming release on New
Yorks Big Chief records and a decidedly dark single, Now
its Dark/Now its Not on Montreals Turbo
Records (out soon). Keep your ears to the ground, theres plenty
more where that lot came from.
