Tom Gillieron and Ravi McArthur, two of South London’s most ambitious producers, have been working together for over six years in which time they have embarked on a number of musical projects. Both producers in their own right, Tom having released on Michel De Heij’s EC records (Holland), The Big Chill and Harthouse, and Ravi on EC, The End and Visitor (Belgium), as well as a string of releases on their own label Reverberations.

Tom and Ravi have also turned their hands to remixing, reworking BT’s “Dreaming” in 2000. Ravi remixed Robbie Williams’ “Rock DJ” to critical acclaim as well as Mr C, while Tom has a string of remixes under his belt including Kirsty Hawkshaw’s “Fineday”, some as yet unreleased material from former Dee-Lite’s Lady Miss Kier and MJ Cole’s “Wonderin’ Why”.

Their main collaboration to date has been as Dancing HQ on Brighton’s prestigious house label Loaded, with the Tech-House Classic “Right where we ought to be” in 1999, a forthcoming release on New York’s Big Chief records and a decidedly dark single, “Now it’s Dark/Now it’s Not “ on Montreal’s Turbo Records (out soon). Keep your ears to the ground, there’s plenty more where that lot came from.
